@@GlassPolishShop thank you I will look into it.
Hi what grit did you use?
GlasX120 is a P180 and GlasX60 is a P500,
What grit is each pad?
Can this be used on tempered glass? I have a 2023 toyota 4runner and I was told it has tempered glass.
Yes, it can be used on tempered glass.
I have a couple deep scratches in my plastic motorcycle windshield. Do you have any suggestions on what paste or product would "fill" these scratches? Thanks!
Thank you for your enquiry. To remove scratches from motorcycle windshield you can use our Headlight restoration kit or a Plastic & acrylic restoration kit: glasspolishshop.com/plastic-acrylic-restoration/plastic-polishing-kits/plastic-and-acrylic-restoration-kit-do-it-yourself glasspolishshop.com/automotive-care-repair/headlights-polishing/diy-headlight-and-tail-light-restoration-kit
I'm gonna guess maybe ceramiccoating. Has to be super clean .but then again have no idea what it would do to plastic
Can we use this to any glass watch?
You can use a polishing compound and polishing compound but we do not recommend using abrasive discs to polish watches.
I was going to use a buffing/polishing machine. Would this be ok?
Hi, can you provide make and the model of the buffing machine please.
My husband used a knife to remove labels from our glass doors and left scratches. Would this work to remove these?
Yes, our kit can be used to remove scratches left by the knife or any other sharp object.
I have a pinball machine backglass that somehow got a few nicks; I am a bit concerned that if I try something like this, it might turn out worse. I wouldn't mind doing it for a very small area, and by hand.
Please send us a picture of the damaged area to contact@glasspolishshop.com, we will et back to you with advice.
Do we get the handsome man with the kit as well?
Hi please how can i get this product?
Hi, There is a link to the product page under the video description.
Can I used a normal corded drill or do you have any recommendations? I have called around in my area all the numbers I could and they all want to replace my glass. I have dog scratches only and am now considering doing it myself
Our DIY kits are designed for use with an electric drill, however, if you plan to work on the larger areas we recommend a PRO version and a rotary polisher with the variable speed control .
Will this work on automotive glass???
Yes, it can be used on auto glass, however, please check our different kit which comes with a more flexible backing pad more suitable for curved surfaces. ua-cam.com/video/mwys2VHlQ1c/v-deo.html
great video! do you have to worry about the heat of the glass??
When working on glass, it's important to keep an eye on the temperature. You can use the palm of your hand or a thermometer to check. If the glass gets too hot, just pause for a bit, let it cool down, and then continue.
what is the right mixture for cerium oxide?
Will this work on a domestic house window ? Glazing company told me it was impossible to polish / grind out a scratch, but this looks like it would, unless the grade of glass is somehow different from what i'm looking at on my house window (that has much thinner scratches than processed here)
Hi James, Thank you for your inquiry. Our kit can indeed be used on house windows. However, before you decide to try the kit, please send us an email at contact@glasspolishshop.com with a picture of the window, the size of the pane, and if possible, please mark the scratched areas. We need to assess the size of the damage to determine whether you should choose the DIY or a PRO kit.
Man sieht weder die unpolierte Scheibe vor der Politur noch das Ergebnis. Seltsame Produktvorstellung.
Can both Grades be use for phones and table scratches?
I have used this product and created alot of swirl marks that are more visible now
Thank you for your feedback. There could be a few reasons why you have created swirl marks, but nothing to worry about, they can be removed. Please drop us an email to contact@glasspolishshop.com with your order ID number and we will get back to you.
Can this method be used for car glass..?
Yes, it can be used for car glass. To learn more about scratch removal from car side windows please watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/mwys2VHlQ1c/v-deo.html
Can u use this on all other side n back windows
Yes, you can.
Question, will this help remove scratches from a stove top?
Thank you for your inquiry. While cerium oxide is effective for polishing glass surfaces, it may not be suitable for removing scratches from a stove top. Typically, scratches on stove tops are quite deep due to daily wear and tear, and they require a more abrasive approach. In such cases, the scratches would need to be sanded down first before applying cerium oxide or a glass polishing compound. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to ask.
Outstanding!!!
Sorry I'm confused
I have question is not first. 6o in then 120
GlasX60 and GlasX120 are the product names and not the P-grade size. GlasX120 green is corser (P180) and GlasX60 blue (P500)
I am going to try it on a 100$ aquarium light scratch. If that's successful all give the 1000$ back windshield a go lol.
Hi! are you supposed to sand the product first or could you apply the compound directly on the damaged surface without sanding it? thanks!
Hi, It depends on the extent of the damage. If you're looking to remove scratches, you'll need to sand them down first. You can start with P500 to P1000 sandpaper and then proceed with polishing. However, if you're dealing with surface marks, light damage, or haziness, you can simply use the polish without the sanding process.
What temperatures are risky for windshields?
when polishing a car windshield try to keep the glass temperature below 48° C ( 118° F)
Hi I bought DIY Glass Scratch Removal Kit 75mm do you think I need more pads?
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your DIY Glass Scratch Removal Kit. While we would love to provide you with guidance on whether you need more pads, it's important for us to understand the specifics of your project to offer the most accurate advice. Could you please send us an email with the following details: The number of panes you'll be working on. The size of each pane. The percentage of damage on each pane. Once we have this information, we'll be better equipped to assess your needs and provide you with tailored recommendations. email: contact@glasspolishshop.com
I purchased my kit maybe a week ago, car passenger side had deep scratches and this kit did the job, was skeptical at first but it really did work. Would deff recommend this
Will glass be as perfect as new glass after the polishing stage.. or is it slightly noticeably it's been worked on
Thank you for your question. When glass is polished correctly, it should appear as perfect as new glass. With a bit of practice, the difference between the treated and untreated areas should be minimal, if noticeable at all.
Just ordered it for myself rn in California I’ll be back with an honest response
Thank you. Should you have any questions just drop us an email: contact@glasspolishshop.com
U never came back

@@GlassPolishShop I believe they mean the original poster of the comment never came back to review the product or process. Maybe they haven't gotten it or used it yet or maybe they just forgot. What I wanna know is are these sanding discs any different from the sand paper at the local hardware store, besides the attachment style? Can I just take 60 and 120 grit sand paper and go to town on a window, then polish it and expect the same result? Or is there some proprietary grit used to make these different?
@@gr8mystery These are not ordinary sandpaper discs. They are optimized for sanding glass. Ordinary silicon carbide abrasive discs will not provide the same results. Additionally, please note that '60' and '120' are not the grit sizes; they are the model names GlasX60 and GlasX120.
Thanks! The Mic sounds terrible! 🙏
Wow!! This really did the job work really well took out heavy scratches in my car window. My scratches on my driver side window were really deep. I used the Ryobi hand drill D43K speed 1600… depending on how deep your scratches are, this needs patience in order to get the best results. Now would I do this again probably not. I’ll probably have somebody professionally do it for me next time… BUT!! the product definitely works!! 😎👍
most are not dirty but scratched and edged !!!!!!!
THat cooktop is not cloudy or scratched ! do it with one that is heavily damaged
Hello! Works this also on a mirror?
Yes, it can be used on a mirror. We uploaded a short video a moment ago: ua-cam.com/video/-dFwoqyz47M/v-deo.html
Would this be a good choice to remove heavy wear / light scratches from china (dishes) or fired ceramic glaze? Porcelainized appliances, signs or bath fixtures?
It is hard to tell, we suggest getting the smallest jar 50g (1.7 oz) and run some tests to see if the results will be satisfactory.
Is the 200 abrasive disc safe to use with a curved glass 32-inch CRT TV screen which has surface-level white chip marks on the screen? Or should I use the 120 disc instead? The instructions says to use 200 for chip marks but is that too aggressive for a CRT TV screen?
We do not recommend polishing CRT screens at all. These screens have a delicate coating that can be damaged during the polishing process.
Preferably a video where you sand off a bit on the edge of a tempered glass (mirror) to make it fit better
Good idea, we will put on our list

Thank you for your enquiry. This kit is suitable for scratch removal. If you wish to remove the grinder and welding splatter damage, please drop us an email with a picture of the damaged area, and we will get back to you with the solution.
Do we have to wash between grits?
No, you don't have to wash the glass between stages. However, it's essential to wipe the surface with a cloth to remove any glass dust, ensuring it's clean before progressing to the next stage.
I use ready made automotive glass polish compound and polish with cordless drill plus cordless grinder to car glass.after finish i saw a lot of hologram.buffer trails.how to remove them. Much appreciate if you can give me some tips to remove
There could be few reasons, please drop as an email with the picture of the compound and polishing pad you used. Also note that grinder tools are not recommend for polishing glass as they spins to fast. email: contact@glasspolishshop.com
@@GlassPolishShop thank you for your quick response. I will email as soon as possible.
@@GlassPolishShopCan i use a DUAL ACTION polisher? I have a Porter cable. Thank you,
@@fisephalnoxt Thank you for reaching out. Yes, you can use a Dual Action (DA) polisher like the Porter Cable for glass polishing. However, it's important to note that a DA polisher is typically suitable for polishing tasks and not specifically designed for scratch removal on glass surfaces. For removing scratches from glass using sanding discs and cerium oxide for the polishing process, you'll need to use a rotary polisher or an electric drill.
@@GlassPolishShop Okay, I will get my drill then. thank you!
if the scratch is not deep, could i skip the green one?
if scratches are light, then you can skip the sanding process with the green discs.
@@GlassPolishShop can you do this on th side window? will it effect the view angle and will it be a little "bend" from the outside?

Don’t worry, his beard is acting as a filter! 👍
@@bondi5000yooo 😂😂😂😂
Does this work on cermamic stoptop too?
yes, it can be used on the ceramic stovetops
Better to wet the stovetop to use a blade than dry scratch it.
I am not affiliated with the company. This is my honest feedback after purchasing the product. The delivery was within 24 hours. The grinding away of the glass to remove the scratches is straightforward. There is plenty of polishing compound and it’s pretty easy to bring the glass back to clarity. If you want to remove scratches from glass, this is product to use.
